This was a workshop led by Anne Verdier, a ceramist who came to Lyon to work for 6 days of experiments on porcelain, stoneware and clay. The outcome was showcased at the International Biennial of Design in Saint-Etienne (2008).
By manipulating earth through repeated automatic and mechanic gestures, the aim was to achieve an industrial logic that would bear fruit to somewhat predicitible and similar forms. This creative process led to the conception of a range of objects that was more poetic and dreamlike than functional.
