ROEDERER PACKAGING
A felt package allows to discover the bottle in two stages. On the outside, the brown thin felt cloth refers to the winemaker’s lands. Inside, the lace paper refers to the champagne’s bubbles and emphasizes the exceptional character of each bottle. The package plays with the contrast between the density and the rawness of the felt and the finesse of the lace paper. The stitching of the bottle’s «coat» is proudly displayed.
Putting the name Louis Roederer on a fabric label is another tongue-in-cheek reference to textile design. The golden patch tells of the product’s high quality. This event package is meant for the festive season. The wine merchant wraps the bottle himself in front of the customers.
